Covid-19 : Update

Covid-19 : Update

To all of our customers,

As Allied Healthcare professionals we are classed as an essential service, so we are doing what we can to stay open during lockdown 2.0. You do not need a GP referral to see an Osteopath. If you are struggling with getting an appointment with your GP and have aches & pains that aren’t resolving, we may be able to help.

Our Approach to Covid-19

We have successfully worked to avoid disruptions caused by COVID-19 coronavirus, while at the same time acting responsibly to do what we can to prevent further spread of the virus using our new infection control routine of using PPE and cleaning to keep you as safe as possible.
The diary has been reconfigured allowing enough time between appointments to make sure our treatment rooms are safe for our next patient. Following our cleaning protocol and giving adequate time to ventilate the treatment room, as advised by the NHS Covid-19 Infection prevention & control guidance.

Before your Appointment

Unfortunately the Evesham Leisure Centre must close during lockdowns, therefore we have had to find new premises to accommodate us during this time. Please pay close attention to your booking emails and texts as your appointment will now be held in a new location.

When you have booked an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email prompting you to click a link to complete a Covid-19 screening & consent form. There will also be a document explaining the process of coming to the clinic and our infection control protocols for you to read and acknowledge.

If your appointment is with Phil your new clinic location will be: The Foot Care Group, 91 High St, Evesham WR11 4DN

If you appointment is with Sarah your new clinic location will be: Evesham Natural Health Centre, 98 High St, Evesham WR11 4EU

What to expect at your appointment

If you arrive early, please wait outside of the clinic until the time of your appointment. We will come to collect you at the door.

When you arrive at the clinic we will ask you to:

– Sanitise your hands with the sanitiser provided
– Wear a face mask
– We will take your temperature with a no touch thermometer
– We ask that you bring as little as possible to your appointment and also that you come alone, if this is feasible. After your treatment you will be guided to exit via the hallway front door which is separate to the main reception area.

For now, we cannot see people who:

– Have Covid-19 symptoms
– Are self-isolating due to contact with someone who has symptoms
– Is shielding due to being classed as clinically vulnerable or who lives in the same household with someone in this category

Please call if you are unsure about booking in for a face-to-face appointment. These are guidelines and we appreciate everyone has individual circumstances – we can help advise you on the most appropriate path to take. We will continue to assess and revise any procedures as the lifting of lockdown evolves. We look forward to welcoming you back to the clinic and helping you back to health.

When the time is right we will look forward to recommencing as normal again.

– Philip Sutton & Sarah Statham
