Philip Sutton graduated from Oxford Brookes in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) Osteopathy, prior and during this time he worked as an associate at Sue Brazier’s Osteopathy clinic near Worcester for six years practicing sports and remedial massage therapy. Once graduated he established Rivers Osteopathic and Sports Injuries Clinic.
Previously Phil had worked in the Health and Fitness Industry for 15 years in various positions including gym manager, personal trainer and phase IV cardiac rehab instructor. During his time as a personal trainer he become interested in working with and developing exercise programmes for people with special needs and disabilities. Phil is a huge rugby fan having played for both Worcester RFC and Evesham RFC he has also been responsible for the pitch side first aid and rehab for Evesham RFC for three seasons, as well as Evesham United and Littleton football clubs.
Since graduating Phil has used some of his CPD (Continuous Professional Development) hours to undertake additional courses in Western Medical Acupuncture, Electrotherapy and Kinesio Taping and therefore often uses a combination of these treatments and techniques in combination with osteopathic treatment.
In his spare time he enjoys Mountain Biking, Boxing Training, Pilates and Hiking where he has completed several multi day walks including the Great Glen Way, Hadrian’s Wall, Wainwright’s Coast to Coast and St. Cuthbert’s Way. His ambition is to walk the Penine Way.
